This will enable us to not only scan your 35mm microfilm cards to Cdrom, but enable us to produce high quality prints even from poor quality microfilms.

Microfilm images are scanned by a high-resolution CCD and further processed by Oce image logic software. This unique digital image processing technology, ensures top quality digital files even from old and low contrast microfilms.

Automatic compensation for
irregularities and differing backgrounds.

During any scanning procedure, non-uniformities can arise from tiny irregularities our software automatically corrects and enhances this data. The result is an equalised and undistorted image.

Compensation for differing backgrounds, is especiallyevident in cards from various sources, this is also corrected by our specialist software each individual microfilm is measured and all background made white. Moreover, because measurements are scanned line for line, prints have consistent high quality images and clean backgrounds.

Further more the system uses standard compression techniques to generate TIFF raster formats, allowing files to be sent to an electronic data management system. For editing, erasing or manipulating information.
